New Year, New Moon!

What a wonderful time to start a new day, and a new year with a beautiful fresh new moon.

Whether you are setting intentions, making resolutions or just going with the flow, Rainbow Yogis wishes you all a magical new moon and a very Rainbow new year!

Rainbow Yogis are looking forward to a colourful year in 2014 with our first dvd release! We have had so many requests from families to extend our rainbow love of yoga into the homes of little yogis for quite some time now and have been filming for over a year.

We are so looking forward to the big release!

2014 will also be the year we release our Rainbow Warrior Tribe Programmes! I’m very excited about this one and it is something we have been working on for a long time.

The Rainbow Warrior Tribe is a club for children aged between 4 and 12. The tribe’s programmes are an extension of the Rainbow Yogis philosophy of mindfulness and children’s empowerment that we teach, through the eight limbs of yoga, in Rainbow Yogis classes. Compassion, Respect, Balance, Focus, Inner Growth, Awareness, Understanding and Self Love.

We believe that children are disconnected with themselves and with the world around them. We live in a highly complex world, both natural and of our making, yet so few of us really take the time to see how it actually works and how our individual actions effect it. With computer screens, games, media and television we are disconnecting ourselves from each other and our natural world.

We feel passionate about the gift of mindfulness as a tool to empowerment, helping plant the seeds to grow a conscious generation.

Come join our tribe in the new year for regular newsletters and the release date of our exciting new programmes and weekend workshops.

Stay connected over the next few weeks also, for more information on some upcoming Summer Holiday Yoga events and our term one classes.

Here is a little New Year mindful activity you can do with your littles to help welcome in the new year.

Family Vision Boards!

You will need:

  • A large piece of cardboard
  • Old magazines
  • Glue
  • Scissors
  • Photos
  • Pencils and textas.

Write, draw or glue pictures of all the wonderful and exciting ideas you would like to do together as a family in the new year.

Be creative as you can, as silly as you can and as fun as you can.

Ideas from the heart, selfless ideas and mindful ideas.

Even ideas that may seem out of this world, stick them on and put them out into the universe, you never know what the new year may bring.

Stick up your vision board with mindful intentions to complete or manifest the adventures and activities together as a family.

Keep smiling and we wish you many rainbows for this new year!

Namaste.
