Eagle Pose and Focus.

On the eighth day of Solstice, yoga gave to me….

Eagle Pose and Focus!

Christmas and the end of year may have you soaring high with excitement and you may find yourself getting wrapped up in the crazy world of fast paste, commercialism and consumerism.

Sometimes we loose sight of the real meaning this time of year brings.

Today don’t lose sight of the small things. Use your bird’s eye vision to zone in on those little things that matter most.

What is it that really brings joy to your holidays and your little ones.

Lets focus in with Eagle pose!

Standaing tall and proud in Tadasana, mountain pose.

You may need a focus friend to use to help you balance. Something from nature is always nice. As you breathe stare at your focus friend.

Inhale bend your knees and lift one foot to rest ontop of your other knee so you are balancing on one foot.

Stretch out your beautiful eagle wings and smile.

Focusing on what really matters.

Dont forget to try the other side too.

Whilst this photo was taken an amazing hawk stretched out its wings and flew slowley above us.

A real magical experience.
